Every new/returning customer of Chic-Fil-A is "a thumb in the eye" to the MORON LEFT.
(One of my several "quirks" is that I very seldom eat any sort of sandwiches BUT we both do go to the Chic-Fil-A, even just we want a soft drink.)

I'm not a CFA fan only because I don't care for the menu. We had one locally and the drive through line ROUTINELY backed up traffic on a major street during lunch. They opened another CFA about a mile away to address the issue. Now they BOTH cause traffic jams at lunchtime.

The only time that hasn't worked recently was with NIKE & the Kaepernick sponsorship last year.
I tried banning buying Nike at my house & my wife took the kid & have bought her 2 pair of Nike's for track.
I told them to take them back & buy american like New Balance ... i got over ruled :banghead:

I had the exact opposite happen with my wife. Last week she comes in with a new travel mug to use for coffee in the mornings. I ask her where her Yeti cups were that she got as gifts. She said she got rid of them after I told her about the whole NRA/Yeti flap way back when.

My wifes usually cool, but to her defense, she had been running around all day & spent most of the day out of the house. She wasnt too happy with me when she comes in around 8 & i tell her to go back to the store to swap shoes. Not only that my oldest is 13 & wears a womans 12 shoe...its hard for her to find shoes in general so i didnt push the issue too much. I didnt want to end up sleeping on the couch...lol.

I sometimes have to remind my gf to keep her opinion to herself when in public. We were shopping for a pair of shoes for me around the time of the Nike debacle. She made sure to "school" everyone who picked up a pair of Nikes to look at them. Not everyone was receptive. It does not phase her.

The reason why is because Minorities love Nike. They rob, steal, and shoot each other over a pair of Nike air Jordan's. When looting happens after a natural disaster they dont go looting supplies. They go looting nikes and other name brand apparel.
