Per Moonpie's request, here's my S&W 642.
Ran some 158gr Geco fmj and some hornady critical defense 110gr.
My initial thoughts:
1. Its gonna take me a little bit to get used to shooting a DAO revolver, especially the trigger.
2. Speaking of trigger. This is the smoothest heavy trigger I've ever shot.
3. Clean brass! And I didn't lose any!
4. This little revolver made me slow down. I can put 100 rounds down range with an autoloader in the blink of an eye. 60 rounds over the course of 30 minutes shooting with this J Frame.
Now for the results. 10 yards. 60 shots. It's clear to see this is my first time shooting a DAO revolver. My 2 shots on the bottom left were my first 2.
Oh and excuse the rips in some of the bullet holes. I tried to remove the target from the cardboard and...well...you can see what happened.
