All pronouns are connected to their nearest antecedent. So yes the dog owns a phone. Y’all sometimes remind me of my cousin at Graham. His Mama and Daddy bought him books and sent him off to grammar school to get edumacted. All Cuz did was chew on the book covers.

Proud dad moment. Her first kill. She wouldn't drop it. Those turds tease the crap out of her, but today one of them paid.

What does your weigh? She weighed 4.2 lbs when we got her, 71 as of last week at 14 months.

We were not expecting to have a tank.

She's a beauty and I'd take her in heartbeat, but I was referring to the fact that the squirrel was, by gawd, hers ... not your's!!

    Sorta like this:

    sorry for the cornfusion. ;)

My greyhound / wolfhound mix caught a squirrel mid section last fall. The squirrel turned up and nipped my dog in the nose. Squirrel got away. Dog still chases them and has yet to catch one.

She wants to run down the coyotes that show up in the greenway in a bad way though. That's what she was built for. She will see them in the rough like 75 yards out and locks on to them. I am too nervous to let her after them as she may not stop. She will pace the truck doing near 40mph for as long as I drive.

Otherwise she is very lazy and just derps around on the couch.

I've stood next to rescued greyhounds before and they just lean up against me. It's like they're saying "I had to run for a living. When I run, I run. When I don't have to run, I'm not expending one extra calorie."

That is why they are called velcro dogs....

Ours crawled up onto our pillows last night.
The damn carbon monoxide detector started beeping for a battery change about 1am.
For some reason it REALLY freaks her out every time.

Mine freaks out when the smoke alarm goes off.
Knowing the frequency response of canine ears, I'd imagine it's pretty tough on them.

Don't, that one is bait he/she will lead the dog straight to the pack and then it's all over. Coyotes are smarter than people give them credit for. When we called them up they would stop about 75-100 yds out. We used a spotlight shined up high to catch their eyes, sweeping it back and forth. When the main beam was 150' or so away from them they would open their eys for a peak. You could just catch a hint but not enough to pinpoint it when you swung the light back around. You could drop the main beam on the ground and see nothing. They would play the game as long as you would. You could find them when you started walking in their direction, at abt 50 yds they decided that was close enough and all you saw was a brownish gray wisp disappearing. Coons will do the same thing by hiding their eyes.
