I'm pretty sure my second handgun was a 686, still have of course.

My first gun was a Remington Nylon 66 when I was about 14 or 15. Wish I still had it.
Second was a Charter Arms Undercover that I bought back in the mid 70's.
Third was a Ruger Mark II I bought in '82 or '83.

Those last two were victims of boating accidents.

HR single shot 20 Guage ...circus..1980
32 ACP pistol ..cant recall the make..about 1986. I moved off base and was able to keep guns at home finally.
The next one was a Ruger Mark 22

All before age 21 or so...

First gun purchased the day after I turned 18 was a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga.
It was stolen during a home burglary.
Second gun was a Winchester Model 70 in 30-06. Traded it for another rifle which was stolen at the same time the 870 was.
3rd was Marlin 39A .22lr. Later sold it.

First bought was a Heritage .22LR/.22 mag

Second was a Ruger 22/45

Pretty sure the third was a Taurus 917C 9mm bought about 5 years after the first two.

Still have the Heritage but lost the .22 mag cylinder years ago. Have had it for almost 20 years now.

Other two were eventually sold.

12 - Winchester 22LR semi auto
15 - Ruger Mk77 243 ( best bolt gun I’ve owned)
18-Stephens double barrel 12 gauge shotgun. I really didn’t really buy it but I traded a fat guy my black Ten Speed bike I had (it was a nice Ten Speed, had a factory headlight and a speedometer!!). :lol:

That is a pretty funny picture. Not long after I turned 18 in ‘98 I bought a Mossberg 500 pistol grip and then a sporterized Enfield in 308. Next was a SKS a year or so later.

Enfield was sold to me as a .308 that had been converted from a .303. Which is not true but the young guy at the LGS didn’t know any better either.

Literally on my 18 Birthday I bought a 10/22.

I bought my first handgun (AMT Hardballer), FTF, the next day.

Within a week, I had a 10/22, 870, 1100, and AMT Hardballer.

All but AMT were from local Kmart.

My 1st gun was a Dan Wesson 15-2V bought in 198*. I still have the paper receipt but for some reason the clerk did not mark the *, I think it was a 3.

2nd was a Winchester 1300 Waterfowl bought 9/25/85, I still have that receipt too. Someone invited me duck hunting but that never came to fruition so she's only been used for bustin clays.

Sorry, the #3 gun is not as memorable as 1 & 2,

Actually, those early Charters (the ones with the Bridgeport, CONN address) are pretty good little guns. Much better than the later ones.

First 3 I bought or traded for.

1)Ruger 10/22 for $125 I got at the Spring gun show in 95' & went to the both next to it & got a folding stock for $75... I was 20.
2)Smith & Wesson 12ga. model 916a with 18 1/2" barrel. Got it from my buddy for $75 ... I was 21
3)Ruger P90SS .45acp I traded a buddy for a mountain bike I had... I was 24.
I sold it a few years ago to a buddy to fund a Colt 1911.

First 3 I got for gifts as a kid

1)Harrington & Richardson .410 single shot break open... I was 7 @ Xmas
2)Marlin model 60 .22 ... 8th bday
3)Sears Roebuck bolt action .22(forget model...not a Higgins) ... summer when I was 8.
I still have them in the safe.
