The first one i felt that way about was my S&W Stainless Model 66 four inch back in the late 70's. That revolver hit where you pointed.
Now it is my Glock 19X. Went to the range Saturday and put 500 rounds down range. Tightest groups I ever shot. That new barrel is awesome. Best before was my STI 1911. Love that gun as well. 8 rounds vs 19 rounds is why I carry my G19X mostly.

Got from a member here. Long ago. I can't remember who.
It just fits. It don't fuss. Even my first 45 acp trial reloads wouldn't stop it. I just reached over and picked it up.

I've always liked Colt Gov't .45s...especially the accurized ones I had on the Army team. Here's one that's the best of the lot, built by Justin McMillan for me when he still worked at Hill Country Rifles. It's the finest 1911 I've had since I started shooting them 30+ years ago. I've won several matches with it, including the President's Hundred Service Pistol (senior div) at Camp Perry last year.

Mine is my favorite behind my cz’s. I use the large backstrap and it fits me wonderfully. Glock19x is a great gun.

The "One" is what I carry most often now, Smith & Wesson Performance Center 1911 Commander. Very comfortable to wear and hits what I aim at, plus I love the look.
