Where I grew up we had tornados on a yearly cycle. Tornados IMHO have been worse for me then any hurricane in 36 years on the gulf coast.
A little close for comfort.
I was on a job and a tornado went by about a half mile away. My hotel was a mile away and it went right in between the two.
I had the exact same problem a few years ago, the day after Christmas.
During Hurricane Harvey when the mini tornado ripped through the Cypress area taking down fences and tearing up roofs, it passed right in front of me in the parking lot I was in (I was standing outside of the car). Put some scratches in the Camaro with flying shingles too
