TR Graham moved back to the Dallas area from Houston. He attends the local Big Town and Lewisville Gun shows. He installed some night sights on my Glocks this last weekend.

Any Gunsmiths in the Plano, Frisco, Allen Area? I might want a tweak done and my buddy needs a solid polish on his Old Ruger.

Like you, I am looking for a Gunsmith in the area.. I've heard mixed reviews about the gunsmith at Gunmasters.
Personally, I need to find someone to work on my Glock23..

Not sure if Brotherhood Arms (in Garland) is still in business as they've let their domain name go.

Need a gunsmith to re-cut some shotty barrels I cut with tubing cutter/chopsaw. I left plenty of barrel to recut and need large beads on them, too. Anyone south of Dallas who does good work? Also need a GP100 hammer bobbed. Thanks for the help. One vent ribbed 12 needs cutting, too.

Scott at the Beretta Gallery in Dallas (Highland Park) appears to be good, and quite busy, based on what I've observed.

Had him install some triggers and night sights, cost was fair and work was done right.

He also works on non-Beretta firearms.

And you can also fondle some damned impressive (and expensive) firearms in their store

    Try this:
    The 1911 Academy
    1971 University Business Drive
    Suite 109
    McKinney, Texas 75071
    214-856-3976

This shop is located just east of the Coit Road and Hwy. 380 intersection.

    Ask for Chuck or Bryant.
They worked at the Frisco Gun Club prior to this shop opening. Nice guys. They do all of my gunsmithing work.

    Ah the Beretta Gallery.
Years ago a friend managed the store. I was down there one day looking for choke tubes for by 686 White Onyx shotgun. There is an oval room in the middle of the store. The walls of this room are covered with expensive shotguns. As we walked pass the entrance, I noticed several guys in suits sitting around the oval table in the room. As I was checking out, I asked my friend what was going on. He said all but one of the guys were Beretta factory people that flew in to help the other guy design a couple of shotguns for his company. That was to include the engraving pattern as well as his choice of custom wood. It seemed the guy wanted to give a couple of his prime clients a new shotgun. My friend said each shotgun was estimated to cost $125,00 or more. Damn, I wish I had friends like that!

Yeah they've got a beauty on the wall in that room, priced right at $250,000...

My gunsmith just had a heart attack and died last week, age 56. I have a shop full of work and no smithy. Nice little shop, we don't sell guns, just repairs and customs. If anyone knows of someone especially machine-talented wanting to move to deep east Texas in the Piney Woods, west of Nacogdoches, please send me their info? www.psalmgunworks.com

I'm looking for a Gunsmith to reinstall the seer into the breechblock on a 1913 made Savage 1907. I know it looks really simple but for the life of me I can't get that sucker back in.

If anyone knows a good gunsmith in Texas to help I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
