    To All,

The TRUTH is that adults, who has any commonsense, KNOW that "Gun Free Zones" ATTRACT armed predators. = MASS MURDERERS prefer helpless, cringing, victims.

This type of thing here is why I choose to violate my company’s policies, unbeknownst to them. I figure if I’m smart about it, the only way they will know is if I’m thanking my lucky stars I went ahead and carried...and I’ll find a new job instead of hoping for a second chance at being alive.

Reading the article, you'd think shooting incidents are a common occurence. And everyone feels the need to carry a firearm to protect themselves. Implying getting rid of firearms will solve all of the problems.

If the employee was perceived as a significan threat by her, it stands to reason others did too. Why wasnt the hostility of the shooter addressed before the incident? I'd lay blame on HR, it;s their responsibiliy address behavioral issues with an employee and escalate the response when needed.

My company has a "no firearms on premises" policy. But I don't care. My company can't guarantee that I will never need to defend myself on their premises.

I am responsible for my own safety, and I'll do what needs to be done to ensure my safety. Plus, I'm a manager and I've told all my people the same thing.

Presided, standing up, over a property owner's meeting recently.
Was taken aside after adjourned and asked in a whisper: "is that a gun in your pocket?"
My reply: "Only one way to find out".
    End of discussion ...

Interesting that he noticed. What were you carrying? I pocket carry a .380 Bodyguard in a Sticky holster.
