I have 3 or 4 of them in various Country manufacturers.
I like them and I have a Chinese Type 54 that I bought in 38 Super Auto but I found and fitted a 7.62-25 barrel and a 9mm Largo barrel so it interchanges between all the cartridges.

My Yugo M57 is similar but 9 round mag.

I wish the late import Polish models were not marked TTC because they were NOT made in the CUGIR factory so they are TT33 NOT TTC. (Tokarev Tula Cugir)

Tokarev pistol TT33 manufacture was moved from the TULA arsenal to CUGIR (hence the name change to TTC) in 1952.

I would buy a Polish model if it was NOT marked TTC.

You can still find surplus ammo but it is not as cheap as it once was.

Heh I got that email too. Might be a good candidate for my first C&R purchase. I have been on a Combloc kick lately.

Curio and Relic. These are guns that are at least 50 years old or have been designated as a C&R. Those of us that hold an FFL 03 can buy these and have them shipped directly to our house.

Milsurp 7.62x25 is not as readily available or cheap as it once was.

Otherwise, it's an excellent round. I have a Yugo M57 that is an great shooter.

I saw that ad as well, and have been contemplating getting one as well!

I've been looking at these as well, would be highly interested in your thoughts on shooting it once you have it. Was considering one for a restoration project.

I liked them better when they were $79 from Michael Tenney but things are always changing.

And I did buy surplus ammo when it was cheap. God I hate moving!

I saw some video from the "games" in cali after the Rodney King beatdown and I could swear there were some Asians defending their property with the Norinco 7.62s.

I need to pick up another one.

I have the Chinese Tok. Excellent and dependable truck gun. The ammo is not cheap, but very fast. It will easily penetrate a car door. Removed my safety and covered the hole with a cheap, small round, plastic product in black from Home Depot. It is a Hillman Hole Plug. Glued it on and it looks much better than that worthless manual safety. The pistol is still a bit ugly. But it is a gas to shoot!
