    Orbitup... That is pretty spot on to my experience. My ballistics program claims 3.7 seconds. The elevation at Raton does play a bit into things. Sadly haven't been able to shoot out there in nearly two years. Need to go soon...

    It's hard for me to get motivated to go to Raton. I love The Whittington Center and have spent many happy hours there. I bought a life membership (back when they really were life memberships with full access to everything, forever, for a one-time payment) and was considering retiring there. But the town is such a wasteland, devoid of any niceties other than Whittington, that I decided against relocation.

    IOW, I can easily understand how a couple of years could fly by and you realize you haven't made the trip.

    My current round is a tad slow under current rules, but an extra 120 fps is like 3 more grains of powder. My problem is my eyes are not as able to resolve the target at 800, 900 and 1000 to make very good match scores, but heck its about the fun
