Morning folks. Waiting for my flight back to the Republic. I'm ready to be home. I feel so naked here not being able to carry.

The news yesterday was talking about all of these shootings going on in the streets here. I guess their gun laws aren't working so well for them.

Our new Ram trucks at work have those stupid dial shifters and I keep almost turning it when I go to adjust the air.

I hear you. In the airport, waiting to fly to Commiefornia. I'm just looking around and see three TSA agents staring into their phones. Makes me feel more secure than ever.

Wait till you get used to it. Then you'll get in a Ford or Chevy and crank the radio volume up trying to get it in gear.

Jeez, I had to bite my tongue so hard a little while ago.

I'm in HEB and waiting for a school group (maybe 3rd graders?) getting a tour to get out of the way so I can get to the eggs. The employee leading the tour starts taking the kids into the refrigerated area behind the eggs/milk/etc. As the kids are filing in, their teacher yells out over them:

    "Don't touch nothing!"

Were they were supposed to make sure they touched everything? That would be a tough job for those little kids.

Of course, growing up in a system that puts people like that in charge of their education is an even tougher job. :(

Are these third world kids that don't have stores like HEB where they live?

Obviously no but I don't hold it against them that they got the tour. I remember when my Boy Scout troupe got a tour of the little creamery in Brenham.

I do object to an educator speaking in that manner.

I just thought a grocery store was some place the parents would often bring their kids. I remember as a child, field trips involved museums and places not often seen by the public. My 3rd grade class made a flag for the new anteater exhibit for the San Diego Zoo, so we went there from L.A. to present it.
