Never had an issues with PMC, but would always lean to Federal between those two.
PMC ammunition is manufactured in South Korea by the Poongsan Corporation (ISO certified) which produces cartridges ranging from small arms ammunition to large howitzer rounds for the South Korean military.
My guess on military aid equipment we gave them. My dad worked at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant until he retired. As a little kid I find a made in Japan M203 that launched ping pong balls @ K Mart. My dad was pissed off because he claimed it was a guarded weapon @ the time. He was even more pissed when JAAP dissemble the 40 mm grenade production line & gave it away to the Philippines.

Thanks for the responses. I’ve had PMC solely for years and it has been great for me. Why change? Thought I would diversify a little. As long as it was a solid brand and in my PRICE RANGE. Went with Federal. Always shied away from Federal. Why...???? Mostly more expensive. And usually if a more expensive brand comes in my price range, there’s a catch that I’m not aware of. This time I said WTH!! Federal it is!
Simmer down, Nancy! Ok...... 20...... boxes......... worth!! Pulled the trigger on PSA Deal of the day. 1000 loose rounds. I customarily buy in bulk quantity. Gonna need more ammo boxes!! Hopefully that will keep me out of TGT jail for a while.
Some might even hit the target.......With the way I shoot, it doesn't make a rats ass!Federal, PMC, they all go downrange!
