Well. It’s annoying when people think they understand something and make snap assumptions on how something goes down when they don’t have the information needed for that assumption to be accurate or even realistic.

Like y’all are just making up how it is logistically for a woman to go pee while carrying when y’all aren’t thinking it through.

Y’all knew this was a thread about a woman carrying in a restroom from the first page of this thread. What did y’all think was gonna be discussed?

I have no issues with what you've said.
My issue is about a dumbshit, who of all people, should know better than abandoning her weapon in a public place.
The very same dumbshit that would have you arrested and charged for making the exact same mistake.

    She SHOULD know better.

And as considering how many more times that drawers get dropped for ladies restroom visits, a better system than that is needed for a lady than what a man might use.

IMO, no lady should have a set up where a gun has to come out of the holster or the holster/ firearm has to come off and back on body while visiting the restroom. That’s just way too many things going on, too many times a day. It’s dumb.

If you had to take your gun completely off every hour or so, wouldn’t that get old? Wouldn’t that be time consuming?

Her setup must have sucked to begin with.

Mechanics of weapon retention aside, the doofuss in the OP is a doofuss.
How does one walk off without your weapon?
Don't know about y'all but that thing never leaves my sight when doing my business.
Consider that many "chiefs" are political appointees or hacks or the position is a necessary stopping point on the way to some other spot. The gun may be foreign to them or an accessory. Still while that's their excuse it doesnt hold water nor does it count for life time gun people or just people who place their cell phone above a firearm.

Like I said before, knock on wood, tossing salt, stay away from ladders and unsecured mirrors. Were all human and arrogance plus over familiarity and a bad day can make use look just as stupid.

    Beware hubris!

Yes. Probably a good idea. This and the corset holster have an advantage.

I actually have mulled over ideas about a design for ladies, some kind of undergarment like leggings that might mimic the waist part of a pants with belt loops, yet was open at the bottom somehow or easily accessed for elimination.

Some kind of weird, tactical crotchless garment. Now that’s a picture.

Then loose, elastic pants or a skirt could come up to the belt part of the leggings. A loose fitting top might need to cover the belt. You gotta really have the belt, I think, if the holster allows ready access to the hilt of the gun, which I think I need. Tucked too far down in a pocket (which the corset style holsters seem to involve) means a slow draw. Maybe Anna Taylor can get that done but I’ve practiced enough like that with my corset holster to know it’s not optimum for me to not have the hilt presenting easily.

(The flash bang is also not optimum. My gun would be drenched with sweat everyday. Ew.)

Thanks. Those garters won’t hold my preferred firearm. Glock 26 is to big for those. They only hold baby guns, of which I have none.

The bike shorts, those still have to come up and down. And a firearm is going to come out of those when they are lowered, looks like. I prefer the stability of a gun belt if I can get it.

    I appreciate the rec though.

Anything Lycra and super compression shapewear... let’s just say it takes more time to peel down than you would like when you really have to go bad.

And trigger coverage, a good holster and stable gun belt is really where it’s at when you want a good draw.

Anything else, maybe it’s a good back up super stealth set up, but I don’t want my EDC to sacrifice a platform to where I can get a good draw. I’ve become very particular (well, let’s be honest; I’ve started out particular and just got worse).

Well, duh, weapons in restrooms maybe? I don't need to know that mailman has prostate problems and uses both hands.

I don't have "prostate problems". I had prostate cancer. The prostate, seminal vesicles, base of the bladder, and 19 lymph nodes were removed. I then had 35 radiation treatments.

I lost the ability to control the flow of urine and the ability to have an erection. This at age 52. Pray this doesn't happen to you as it really sucks.

I now have a pump in my right scrotal sack that needs to be pressed on before I can start to pee. That requires the use of both hands. One to control the nozzle and one to press the start button.

Sometimes life slaps ya upside the head. You gotta learn to deal with it.

I must assume it's the same Sam Brown arrangement as everybody else.
I would think, with badass retention on a police rig, that firearm isn’t gonna come flying out of the holster if you drop your drawers. So I don’t get why it needed to come out of the holster in the first place.

My take: It’s bad practice to have that (upholstering firearm or removing holster/firearm entirely) be your sequence of activity with every single restroom visit all day every day.

Mistakes were bound to happen if that was the case.

Although, being a “Bill,” I bet he doesn’t unbuckle his belt and drop his drawers to his knees for every restroom visit either, multiple times a day. That’s the factor that’s different.
