Hate to change the subject, but you'll see why if you like guitar playing.

After years of studio work and playing with phenomenal musicians I'm not easily impressed. There is an inner spirit inside that boy that will not be denied. It is magical ...

Have to admit I was a bit suspicious at first, like maybe a fake, photo shopped video? Watched his hands and realized he emotes almost as many notes with his fretting hand as he does with his picking hand.

You can't learn that, it comes from a supreme source in the universe.

Take it to the end ... you'll be glad you did.

Sitting here realizing I spent a couple decades plus with people that were just like me (in my mind) and truly understanding Mattis’s comment to just hold the line, back in 2017.

I swear to Jesus, every soldier, sailor, airman, and marine I ever served with could identify with this Old 97’s tribute to Texas, and I could identify with wherever they came from.

We all identified as American. Been reading a yankee’s recreation of F. Olmsted’s Journey Through Texas and gained an true understanding of the divide today among those who haven’t served.
