Jeez, are you serious? How are we suppose to determine her stance, grip, etc. from that tiny pic?!?

    Here's a better one!

Years ago, my friend had a gun shop with the rifles displayed on the wall horizontally, each with LARGE print on the price tags and the handguns in a glass display case that was high enough that you did not need to bend over. In back he had a slightly raised floor that made it easier for him to pull the guns out if you wanted to see one but, for me, the fact that the guns were at waist level made it great. Today, you go into Academy and have to lay on your belly like a reptile and bring some kind of magnification device or rely on a 19 year old kid to try to show you something. I just do my shopping on the internet, find what I want, read the reviews and then tell my local dealer to order and he brings it into his shop that is behind his house. The one reason I seldom go to shops to browse is that I can find everything I need to know about any firearm on the internet by reading forums and reviews. Then, all I need to do is handle the gun before buying which is the only reason I go to Academy if they have on in stock.

Ally Outdoors in Midland probably has the best display cases I have seen. They have several that are out on the floor and you can walk around them to see the guns in all angles. They also have test models on cables to pick up and handle.
