I sure hope that it registered.
They didn't say how many "rounds" of ammo were seized.
Do they know if it was bought legally or at a "gun show"?

Sent for forensics? Really WTF do they really think that it was used at "other" crime scenes?

Authorities seized a large cache of ammunition....:p

Actually, this is a common occurrence in the LEO community. In my years, I've personally known of 3 different instances. It's typically an officer wanting some type of attention, either from the agency or home life.

    Here’s the backstory:
All deputies start by working in the jails.
His training to leave jail duty wasn’t going very well, and he was assigned back to jail duty.
So he fabricated this story, hoping for sympathy.

The department knew he was lying the whole time. No one believed the story.

How the heck did this loser pass the psych eval?

In the past, most departments wanted well-rounded people who had some life experiences.

Today, many CA departments prefer totally green newbies with no few life experiences, so they don’t have “bad habits” to break.

Some of the stories my CA-cop buddies tell me of rookie training, and rookie mistakes in the field, would be funny if they weren’t so sad.
