    I'm not sure I would. To me, someone equipped with the right tools doing the job in the middle of the day is probably someone who belongs there. A break-in, to me, is someone actually breaking things while trying to get in quickly without being noticed.

    Did you enter the front door? If so, that's even more reason why an observer might decide you probably belong there.
