Fair warning. I havent actually used it. I do mine on a single stage press with a piece of tube that drops them into a water bottle.

I've got all the brass sorted and cleaned. I now have just over 10 gallons of 9mm brass and 12 gallons of .45 ACP brass.

If I had no loaded ammo on hand I'd have a LOT more brass.

I also consolidated my primer and powder stash. I have more pistol primers than I thought I did....but I still need/want more. I've got about a 12 month supply of both large and small pistol primers on hand. I'd like to get it up to 24 months.

Finally completed my .40s&w project for all practical purposes(all are dry tumbled & bulge busted)and most are decapped.

Next project will be trimming .357 for crimping uniformity.

    10,000?

    What the... wait a minute!

    Oh, it’s Deavis.

    Carry on.

Yeah, I still have another 25k to go before I am finished with 40 for next month. I'm curious to see if 40 continues to decline in popularity like it has the past two years or if it stabilizes like 45Auto within a specific demographic that continues to shoot it.

Gage blocks can be bought from Fast Brass out of Michigan if you want them. They are made for gaging from scharch style trays using a filler machine. A lot faster than the blocks we designed for hand filling for sure.

Used my new bullet puller the other day to recycle some rounds loaded for a gun I no longer have.

Works great and will work on any caliber.

It's actually a pipe flaring tool available in the plumbing section of your local home improvement warehouse for ~$20. Lay it on top of your press (I clamped it down there), tighten it on the bullet, and pull the case right off.

It is easiest it you pull the case, loosen the tool, and let the bullet fall back onto the case so you can remove all of it together. If not the bullet will fall onto the shell holder and bounce away. My hand doesn't fit very well to reach in and catch it with my aftermarket primer catcher.

Screw that stupid hammer and much cheaper and more versatile than a collet puller.

It’ll never work. You gotta pay big money for specialized tools that have red, green, or blue paint on them. Isn’t it illegal to use anything but expensive specialized tools for reloading?

Great idea. Does it damage the bullet?
No but they aren't crimped in either. Neck tension is more than sufficient though.

If you are pulling lead/ coated bullets or possibly military/ heavily crimped rounds then there might be some damage but no more than a collet puller would do.

It fit the .224 bullets very well. Large bearing surface it the key to not harming the bullets.

Haven't tried it with any other rounds yet but I expect similar satisfactory results.

My framing hammer, pipe wrench, and Dremel laugh at you.

The hammer puller was laying there and my daughter tried it. After ten good whacks and no success she said that was stupid. I agreed.
