Heck, I'd hang with the Marines for a Kimber. For an evening anyway, but no kissing.

I don't understand the hate on here for Perry or Abbott. Both have been strong 2A supporters and helped hold the line against the RINOs and Commiecrats of Washington. Both encouraged business to locate here and keep our economy strong. Neither is perfect but - as others pointed out - we've had much, much worse.

Seeing that Texas Monthly cover with Ann Richards is enough to make me throw up.

    San Antonio!
But does entertain RFLs. Which was my point.

And my point is that he has progressed gun rights in Texas far more than Perry ever did!

I liked Perry, he was a USAF C-130 pilot at one point in his life, but he was mostly all talk. Granted, he didn't do anything to reduce the rights of law-abiding Texans; but there was a lot more he could have done.

As for Abbott's comments, I see them simply to appease the knee-jerk emotional reactions that occur anytime there is a public shooting. Once sentiment calms down, so far nothing come from it and I doubt it ever will.

However, I judge him on his actions, which have been extremely pro-gun, which is why he will always have my support and vote!
