I'm using a Bushnell 1300 right now but I'm looking to change up to something that gives angle compensated ranges.
OpticsAddict.com help me a lot when I'm goes to search for any optics.
what's the best value out there for ranging game out to 1000 yards?

    I run a Sig 2400ABS

It's got the ABS ballistics built into it. You can enter all your dope and it'll put you spot on.

I found mine used for $1,000

I have the Sig Kilo 2400 BDL. Same as the ABS but with less internal ballistics info. Gives data to 500 yards IIRC but I don’t use it.

As far as range finding, I have a thread somewhere on it but I’ve gotten large reflective targets out to around 2700 yards. Trees to about 2,000 IIRC. Does everything I want, cost was around $650 I think.

I have the Bushnell Conx and a dog 2000. I have used on reflective targets to 1000.

With all the new ones coming out now. The prices are dropping on the great but past technology.

I got both of mine used at snipershide.com.

    Good luck!!

    +1 to buying used.

Buddy just scored a vectronix terrapin x for $800 on snipershide.

The Terrapin has some amazing abilities. We've only taken it to 1400 yards so far, and since my rangefinder is a nikon black, I've been blown away.

I've bought a LOT of stuff off of snipershide and brianenos, many many $1000s, and NEVER had a problem buying from guys who are long-time members.
