Hey there. I started FL resizing the first batch of 300 WM brass last night. I was using a Lyman 8 station turret and didn’t like the amount of flex I was getting. This is my first run at 300 or anything belted for that matter. I was going to order a Rock Chucker, but thought I might ask if a Forester Co Ax or Frankford M press might work as well or better. I looked at the M press at Scheels the other day, but haven’t tried one. Let me know what works for you. Thanks.

The Forster Co-Ax is a proven press with the accuracy guys and I haven't heard of one breaking or even having issues. It is a weird design though and spendy.

The FA version is fairly new and haven't heard how it compares.

I will stick with my Rock Chucker though. It is built like a tank and will outlive me. It make great ammo.

Any solid O frame design will work but you may have to tip the case to get a bullet ready for seating if memory serves. Most presses aren't tall enough to put a 300 WM case in with room to set a bullet on top.

BTW some of the Lee presses have a weak point at the handle mount. Lee will fix it but that doesn't help if your press is down when you need it.

Thanks. That’s what I was wondering about. The only other press I was looking at was the RCBS Summit press. It looks beefy, but I haven’t run one.

I went with the Redding Ultramag. Plenty of room for the tall case and tons of leverage.

Sold my Forster for the reason Dawico stated, no finger room to seat a bullet. Got tired of blood blisters from the pinch.

I traded my Lyman turret, stand and extra tool head for a Forster Co Ax. The next day my wife gave me a RCBS Summit press lol. He plan for now is to decide what press works better for my needs and trade the other for an RCBS turret.

I love my Co Ax. I find it to be extremely consistent on OAL, but the longest thing I load on it is 6.5 CM.
