Just a glance at Bud's Guns at the .45s shows Dan Wessons to be more expensive that the Colts. I've never had a problem with my Colts.
Didn't say they were cheaper, said you get what you pay for. Colts are good, but you can get a 1911 that shoots just as good as a Colt for less. With Dan Wesson, or S&W Performance Center for that matter, you get hand fitted parts, and with DW there is no mim parts.

This seemed pretty decent for Remington 22LR from Midway (.03/rd):

    https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1...image-link&utm_campaign=remington-thunderbolt

I did not check out the shipping and tax implications, however.

Edit: so it showed about $11 to ship one box. Increasing to five boxes only got it to $14.99. So, it kind of kills the deal at a box, but if you need several, it's not as bad. Tax on top of all that...

Midway is running free shipping for order $49 on up. Not sure if ammo is excluded from that but might be worth a look.

For the price I thought about it just in case I ever bought the rifle.

It’d only be a few hundred bucks more to buy the SBR version...which is pretty ridiculous when you think about it

I seriously thought about doing this but I don’t need two of these things LOL
