Vehicles buried in hail are seen in the streets in the eastern area of Guadalajara, Jalisco state, Mexico, on June 30. The accumulation of hail in the streets of Guadalajara buried vehicles and damaged homes, but there were no reports of injuries. The strange hailstorm left the Mexican city buried in up to 2 meters of ice in the middle of summer

The hail storm we had here a few years ago left my wife's car looking like a golf ball but didn't break any windows. It also broke the fake shutters on our upstairs windows but not the glass.

Of course, but did you get 6.5 ft of hail?
It just seems pretty weird, maybe it's just me.

Pea size hail? I've seen it stack up pretty deep. Like a foot or so.

Back in 95 or so we got up to 2ft of golf ball and larger-size hail in San Angelo. 61 homes destroyed and a bunch of injured in a late afternoon thunderstorm.

By the time it passed, the sun had gone down and it was surreal driving up onto the hail for several miles down 67 to start helping folks that needed it.
