Voter fraud. Does it happen? Yes. Is it prevalent, don't know. However I would like to have folks look a this to see if it is a problem or it is not a problem. In my opinion one fraudulant voter is one too many. Here in the big town if you do not have picture ID, you can still vte but your ballot is held out until it is verified you are able to vote. Any government issued picture ID works, DL, LTC, but not passport.

Voting is a constitutional right. Owning a gun is a constitutional right. Why do I need ID for one and not the other?

Some years ago I believe in Texas Monthly there was an article about voter fraud and how it was done. Seniors and low economic people were targeted by hired employees to help with securing and filling out mail in ballots and yes "we will send them in for you". What poor old person wouldn't want help? The problem of course is that the paid employee is actually doing the voting. This type of fraud is very difficult to check and detect and I am not going to speculate on which party did the hiring of these "aids for seniors". I personally believe it is much more common than one expects. Also, it doesn't take much for uncle to take your social security out of your paycheck but when it is time to collect it you darn better have proof of identity like a passport or birth certificate. Much more required than for voting.

I'm no fan of blanket statements, especially insulting ones. Sometimes they're warranted but those times are very, very rare.

I had to look and see what this was referencing. That type of insulting hubris is sadly not terribly uncommon in higher education.

My question is,, since it has been shown that there is a probability as well as a possibility that there is voter fraud, why are liberals so afraid to investigate it? They say it isn't there. After all. They say if you are not guilty, you should not be afraid of an investigation.
Supposedly, one "proof" that Trump has to be "guilty" of corruption, collusion and obstruction is they fact that He is not "helping" them "investigate" himself.
If voter fraud is not happening, why are THEY so afraid of proving it?

    Only liberals commit it?

Doubt it. But the Rinos and liberal left seem to want it investigated the least.
Kind of makes you wonder why, don't it?

If they (Libs) did not have a system in place to steal and or falsify IDs so that illegals can overrun our country , what would be the point of getting them all in here to begin with. If you do not think it is happening (and in a big way I might add) you are not only fooling yourself you might just be delusional. Dems as far back as LBJ have been stuffing ballot boxes and they have gotten better at it as time goes by. They also get away with voter intimidation and other cute little tricks as well.

Yeah it took an extra click to see what he was referencing.
Are you guys on Tapatalk or something? On my PC, the regular web interface makes the reference easy to see. I'm not complaining; I'm genuinely curious what sort of setup it takes to make my reference anything but blindingly, instantly obvious.

Einstein is my hero!!! Viva relativity.

I have nary an objection to your averment.
    You are right.

It's merely that the assertion of 24,000 illegal voters discovered within just one Florida county reeks of confabulated malarky.....

I use the web interface, both mobile and on my desktop. When I have someone ignored, it completely hides all of their posts, even when one is quoted by someone else.

Sometimes a person’s post doesn’t make any sense unless you click show ignored content. I had the same problem with the turning Japanese comment you made earlier too.

    D'oh!

The lightbulb goes off over my head. I never considered ignored content. As a mod, I don't ignore anyone so I tend to forget about how putting someone on ignore impacts the flow of conversations.

I think voter fraud has been with us for many years I remember last presidential election stories of people getting multiple early voting ballots, and having them sent to addresses that didn't even request them to people that don't even live there. I also remember in the past dems renting buses and paying people to go out and vote. Even in elections in the past couple of years there has been voter fraud in several states. Why I remember thousands of votes suddenly appearing in trunks of cars etc after the vote was counted. Not to mention states like CA who gives D.L. to everyone citizen or not and allows them to vote.
