Velocity is very good in my experience. Truly drop in and works perfect in my Sig 516

    Pretty strong pedigree too:
    "
Velocity Precision Engineering is based in Phoenix, AZ. Tom Vehr, owner and operator, has over 30 years of experience designing, manufacturing, and assembling triggers.
Tom spent 14 years at Timney Triggers running all aspects of production including design, set-up, tooling, testing, and scheduling. In 1995 Knight Rifles hired Tom to direct their trigger manufacturing.

Over the course of 13 years at Knight Rifles, Tom produced close to 500,000 trigger assemblies as well as other parts. In 2008 Tom started Vehr Manufacturing, parent company to Velocity Triggers.

Primary arms has the 3.5lb super sporting Rise Armament triggers on sale for 83 bucks. Single stage, flat or curved. 24 hour sale. I don't have on but seems okay for a drop-in at a good price.

    Edit...promotion ended today.

LaRue. Geissele is nice, but unless you need a speciality tigger (ie, large pin, adjutable NM, etc) they just aren't worth the large increase in price.

I really don't like cassette trigger groups, and ive seen more than a few go down due to debris. Standard triggers aren't immune, but you can easily service them

At ~80$ for the MBT2S, it's hard to justify saving 20-30 bucks on coated mil spec triggers.

LaRue rubs some people the wrong way, but he isn't an anti gunner, or a liberal, makes a good product, and their customer service is the best I've used.

It is an excellent trigger for that price. I bought one from Optics Planet for 88 bucks 2 months ago

There are several to many choices available now. I particularly like my Jewell for my long range AR varminter, and have done quite a few Triggertechs for customers. Darn nice! Haven't yet tried Timney's new (ish) AR triggers, but suspect they're great.
Have a CMC on one and like it OK.

OP what is your budget? Kinda hard to recommend a trigger without knowing that.

As far as LaDouche. I've never bought anything from him. Just seen first hand how he acts at matches he sponsors. Less just say when he is a sponsor (minor one at that) he thinks he owns the range and everyone is his minion
