OP, I definitely understand the need to raise some short term funds. But at the risk of having my house firebombed by this bunch of anxious buzzards (er, I meant buyers), I would advise not selling more than you absolutely have to. Even if you don't have an interest in firearms, your kids might. Teach them how to shoot (or have someone help with that if you don't have the expertise). Teach them to appreciate and respect firearms. Then pass the guns on to them when they are old enough.

There may well come a day in this country when people will not be able to purchase guns. And that is when people will need them the most.

SP & I have a deal worked out - but if I tell ya, he'll get all upset......

Seriously - she's working on an ad - she's just going to sell a few for now to tide her over through Christmas. We want her to think things through and decide if she really wants to sell them all. Plus, I think a cousin or someone is going to look them over, as well, just to be sure none are "family heirloom" type guns (given their apparent age, I don't think so - but I'd really prefer she take her time. She's going to post 5 or 6 first, I think, and see how it goes.

You fellers be ready.....these are mostly shootin' guns - no real high-dollar pieces, but in nice condition.(to me, high-dollar is $3-5k).

Good plan oldag. I wanted to have my US&S appraised and my wife told me to leave it locked up and let the kids worry about it.
