I think that even Trump didn't realize how big the swamp was and how many alligators were in it. I think he will win this fight but he has to win in 2020 and we must regain the house and keep the senate. The house will be really tough.

No he did not, nor did he know how bad they want to get him.

The problem is, unless you take complete outsiders (who the swamp may not confirm), all you are doing is replacing one swamp-monster with another, Wray being a great example.

What upsets me is that they're probably not going to prison for this.

Prison? Hell, they should be standing in front of a blood stained bullet pocked wall while wearing a blindfold.

In this mornings paper it was noted that Trump just had his 55th justice approved by the Senate. Barry had 50 approvals in eight years. Also the Trump judges are on average 10 years younger than those appointed by Barry.

When the Dems changed the rules from 60 votes to 51 they had NO idea this was going to come back to bite them in the ass this hard. The 9th Circus has undergone a fundamental shift with the justices that Trump has appointed.

Hell, just the other day he appointed a gay man as a judge. Did you hear anything about that?

The Dems filed impeachment charges right after the inauguration, they were SURE that the Russia thing was going to be their huckleberry, when that failed they had to scramble to find something, anything, in which to charge Trump.

Their charges are so flimsy you couldn't wipe your ass with them. Yet it's full steam ahead.

Trump's ONLY mistake was beating Hillary in 2016. Yet the Dems can't charge him with that.

If he wants to alienate himself from the rest of the republicans he will.
Romney is not a republican. Look at what he did as governor in Massachusetts. Look at his voting record since he went into public life (I can't call it service)... all of it. He is very liberal.

Folks, I do NOT want another liberal in office. It is patently bad for the United States, and all of the citizens here. It makes it bad for the world as well.

Right now, we have two major problems we need to fix:

1st) We need to hold the Republicans' (that we put in office) toes to the fire. They need to understand that they are supposed to Represent us. This especially goes for President Trump. Each time we just give him a pass for something he does wrong, we are hurting ourselves. Please, don't get me wrong. I voted for him, and I believe that he has done some very good things for the country but he is very polarizing, and that does nothing to benefit any of us. We wind up playing stupid schoolyard games, like trying to impeach someone just because we don't like them, instead of moving forward to protect the Rights of the citizens. Almost all of the elected officials in Washington would love to strip us of our Rights, and it doesn't matter whether they are dimocrats or republicans. Restricting us gives them more power over us. The U.S. Constitution was written to limit the governments power over us, not to limit our freedoms. That is why the Constitution is ignored by most pols.

The left gave obama a pass on everything he did, every lie he told, and every instance of treason he committed. He is bragging that there were no scandals in his administration! We did not like it then, and we shouldn't allow it with our side. We can't control the left. We can only control the person that WE put in office.

For the record, I do not believe that President Trump has done anything that is impeachable, but he has not exactly been a friend to the 2nd Amendment. He backs red flag laws: He stated that they should take the guns now, and worry about due process later. He used an executive order to ban bump-fire stocks: I do not have any use for bump-fire stocks, but it is not up to me to tell others that they can't have them either. President Trump has also said that he does not like silencers. Just his opinion holds weight and can be enough to change a few votes on a bill, like the hearing protection bill we tried to get passed.

2nd) We can't let anyone (congressman, senator, president, etc.) be above the law, or be exempt from a law they pass. If our elected officials do not have to obey the laws they saddle us with, they can (and do) pass laws that erode our freedoms and Rights.

All of us should take the time to look at everything from our oppositions point of view, but I do not see that happening anytime soon. The motivation of each voter, to elect the person they choose, should be carefully looked at. If it is made clear that the left wants everything for free; but does not understand that everything has a price, and those that do understand it think that they are entitled to other peoples work/wealth. We do not have to convince our side of this to ourselves (at least I hope not). We have to make this information known to the "undecided", low information voters. Each sides base is fairly encamped, so there is not much that could change their minds. It is the people, that are not adhering to either side, that must be won.

The obama administration (with the full cooperation of the mainstream media) divided our country more than it has been in a long, long while. President Trump is not doing anything that will heal that division. He insults, and demeans, the left. They do have a lot of that coming honestly, but we can't even get them to consider anything but the propaganda pushed by their party's bosses and the media. We need to educate, not insult. I do know that many of them can't be educated; that they will put their hands over their ears and start chanting something ridiculous when anyone tries to explain anything to them. We have to understand that they have been indoctrinated by public education, and the media, that have been appealing to their emotions since they first started school. We also need to make it clear that we are not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic. Democracies are self defeating. Republics are supposed to hold the line of their country's goals, ethics, morals, and laws.

I apologize if I have offended anyone. That is not my intent. I love my country. I would give my life to protect and preserve it. Our opposition does not understand the fact that if they get their way, they will have subjugated themselves right along with the side they hate (us, the conservative right). The people leading them into the abyss just want total power, and they will lie, cheat and betray everyone to get it. They want us unarmed in order to take that power with the least resistance. We must never let them take any of our Inalienable Rights. Our Rights are not theirs to give, or take away. The more people that understand this, the less chance we will have to go to extreme measures in order to preserve them. I have friendly acquaintances that are left indoctrinated. By treating them with respect, I can get them to consider other ways of doing things. I will never get them to convert to the right, I have no delusions of this, but I can get them to quit hating long enough to consider other opinions. We all need to treat each other with respect. The undecided voters see this when we do and in so, they give us an honest listen.

I didn't mean this to be a rant. I am not angry, per say, but I can get frustrated when folks on the left project their traits onto us and do not even realize that they do this because they know what they are doing isn't right.

You're talking like a wanna-be politician. Trump is not one, he's a businessman which is what we need up there. We don't need professional politicians who couldn't manage a one-holer much less run the worlds largest business.

He didn’t even make it a condition of military aid.

That keeps getting tossed around despite the Ukrainians saying it wasn’t true and those who testified said it was nothing more than their opinion.

Also despite the fact that they met none of the supposed conditions.

Also despite the fact that Trump has gone beyond what the Obama admin gave.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but, I understood that all requests for aide from any country require investigation and correction of any corruption. It would not have been a condition imposed by President Trump but by all presidents.

You really gonna tell me obozo investigated Iran before dumping that money on them??

Lmao......great point. I remember feeling sick when I saw actual pics of US troops unloading several billion dollars of OUR fucking money to give to a government who despises us, calls for our destruction, and has said so out loud for over 40 years.

Did they like us after? Nope.....
