As the local and regional police/sheriffs line up to stand behind citizen 2A rights, the new, Bloomberg purchased Democratic Virginia leadership is threatening to use the National Guard to enforce the new anti gun laws they are preparing.

This has all the earmarks of Step 1 in the left's broader national plan:

    1. pick small state with comfortable voter base that can be caught off guard

    2. Bloomberg pours $100 million+ into election and liberal machine produces high democratic voter turnout.

    3. Citizen backlash is to be stifled by threats of confiscation, military force and defacto martial law on firearms issues.

    4. Small state issues will serve as court test cases that will steer Democratic gun policies on national level.

We cant underestimate the lunacy of these people and tgeir willingness to push a shooting war with the state government on one side and evil, white gun owners on the other. What cant be forecast is how the Federal government will react if this comes to blows, especially since there are still so many Clinton and Obama scumbags deeply imbedded.

Sounds like the Second American Civil War might start in Virginia.

Of course the simple way to stop this would be to Federalize the National Guard.

I wonder how many would show up for something like this? Their families would become targets.

    Asymmetrical warfare, attack their families.

    Ok.
What happens when the rank&file of the NG refuse?

    I hope you don't think that's likely.

I can’t wait to see how this plays out.

Those bozos don’t realize that “the national guard” is made up of the very same people they’re taking rights from.

National guard vs. state-level law enforcement?

I’m always amused by folks who think military or police are going to disobey orders because it’s not morally or legally right.
I think anyone who has spent time in the ranks will tell you it’s very unlikely.

Don't know about there but in Texas a lot of the NG are some of the very gun owners that would have their guns banned. They would have to raid their own homes.

But if I am not mistaken, don't the NG also swear to uphold and defend the Constitution?
Not the legislators or the govenor?

Cops in Colorado are doing it every day by not enforcing the mag ban. 30 round mags are openly for sale in shops.

Cops every day who are ordered not to turn over illegals to ICE are disobeying those orders and diming illegals to ICE.

I know many cops who do not arrest for minor drug offenses.

Our country is in the early stages of anarchy where everybody thinks they can decide what laws apply and what do not. It is only going to get worse.

Not quite the same as door to door confiscation, now is it?
Furthermore, they are not being ordered to actively do those things by their superiors.
