That's a nice one for being a 1983. With box and paperwork not a bad deal, imho.... fwiw......a new one dealer price is more than that. I don't think the finish on the new ones are as nice........

    Is this a naive question?

Of the dozen or so .22lr revolvers suggested in this thread.....
Are any not worthy of ownership?

    I own maybe a 10.

I have about six I'd never give up.
Another four I could take or leave.

    All are great functionally.

    Keep ONE? Diamondback or K-22!
Glad I needn't make that decision.

Could I please get a price check / evaluation on this one?

Seems a bit high compared to other recent sales but the condition on this one seems better and it includes the box and paperwork. I'd be willing to pay a premium also due to year of manufacture.
Are you looking for a shooter or a collector?

If you want a shooter then don't pay for a collector.

I have a 22 S&W with a 3” barrel that is similar enough to my Model 60 Pro that it can use the same IWB holster.

However I use a cheap nylon OWB holster with a retention strap on the ranch frequently.

I grew up shooting a S&W K 22. Dad wanted something better for home defense so traded it for a M10 38 special sometime back in the later 60's. When I was a rather new 2nd Lt in the Air Force and had a chance to buy a like new K 22 I jumped on it. Honestly I would not look at anything else, but that's just me.

I was until I found the one I posted.

Both. I am the type that would buy a collector and shoot it without apology. These are getting harder to find it seems. And as I said, the year is desirable for me.

Started a conversation with you where I sent you a link.
