I'm on Twitter for business but I'm not very effective. Twitter is all about snarky and/or pithy comments about current events. I'm afraid to get the woke mob after me so I don't engage. Closest I come is healthcare policy discussion.

Some businesses try to be funny. I haven't tried that but maybe it would work.

Anyway, I saw this and almost decided to dive in & piss off the woke crowd. 90% of nurses are women (per Google, not making that up) and 36% of docs are women.

Why in the hell would you assume a woman with medical knowledge is a doctor when it's way more likely she is a nurse? I'm married to a female surgeon & my PCP is a woman. I don't hate women, I just understand math.

I don't get that "I'm offended check box" mentality. That line of thinking of always looking out of ways to be offended (and that someone is always looking for ways to offend).

As a middle aged Christian white male who grew up in Texas, I just don't get it (according to the woke crowd, I can't understand it because I, and others like me, are the problem).

I find Twitter most useful for interacting with customer support at certain companies and keeping up with local breaking news.

Beyond that, this type of shit in the OP is enough to keep me away.

I saw a funny thread posted online, even though I don’t have Twitter, like where you said, a company got involved in an exchange trying to be funny. I think they succeeded, in this case.

I started following Starkist bc of their posts in that thread. Pretty funny. If I had more time I'd try to be funny like that too.
