Just finished modding this beast. It's a PSA AK-P, basically a G3 in the Krink pattern.

    MODS:
Russian laminate hand guard set refinished by me. These have the proper cooling vents and steel barrel isolator.

Tango Down grip with hidden compartment.

XS tritium sight post with white outline. I have the same one on my Colt 6920, these rock!

Streamlight Protac with pressure switch on a Weaver angled mount.

PA Gen II Prisim scope 3x with ACSS reticle for 7.62X39, it also works with .300 Blackout. I also got the aluminum glare filter which screws into the scope hood. It's mounted to an American Defense ACOG quick release.

I'll probably add an adjustable gas piston to it as a final mod. I'll see how it does at the range tomorrow.

The laminated wood has a beautiful glow to it in the sunlight. Probably not in my best interest if I'm trying not be seen, looks really nice though, lol.

I finally got around to doing a re-sighting in of my Ruger Precision rifle in 6mm creedmoor. I moved from DFW to College Station a little less then a year ago. This particular rifle had been broke down during the move.

I made it out to CCC shooting complex just outside of College Station. I spent a perfect 70 degree day at the 100 yard berm. Ammo used was the hornady black 105gr. Groups hung around the .6 to .8 inch size. (One longer string had a flyer I did not call push it to 1.2 inches) Next trip out I will dial and dope it on the 500 yard run to get qualified for the 1100 yard range.

Gen 2 Ruger precision 6mm creedmoor. Seekins one piece mount with a Falcon Menace 4x14. Timney flat trigger. MDT mag with no binder plate. Currently has a silencerco harvester with silencerco cover. Hoptic 2 round quiver and rail level. 3d printed bag rider on the rear and a magpul grip.

    Nice!

I put a ATI Scorpion grip on mine that came in the mail a couple days ago. I didn't have time to take it to the range yet, but in dry firing it works great in keeping the finger going straight back instead of moving in a slightly upward motion with the stock grip. Plus it has a great texture to it and recoil padding, also fits my hand better.

I only put the magpul grip on because I had one laying around. I have been looking into one of these new grips that are 90 degree angle for lack of a better description.

@easy rider , does the bolt feel like it cycles any smoother with different tail piece?

Yes! It slides much nicer, smoother, and I absolutely love the look. The one I have is also titanium not stainless.

Got the the little AK zeroed today, well initial zero since none of the ranges around me will allow pistol length carbine past 50 yards. I'll have to call up my buddy so we can shoot on his property, I know I can reach out a lot more with this baby. For today I used a standard M4 zeroing target at 25 yards to get me started. The PA prism scope with ACSS reticle is awesome! Very happy I went this route instead of a standard red dot. It's as fast as a red dot, CQB is no problem and 3x makes it easy on the eyes at range. The scope is also calibrated in yards and not meters.

I'm good with this initial zero, I used cheapo 124 grain Wolf Military Classic hollow points. I had one dud primer out of about 200 rounds. Can't really complain, decent group in the 1 1/2 inch circle. Rounds outside the circle were from me adjusting the scope.

    Thoughts on the rig:
I'm surprised at how little recoil there is, I can't tell too much difference between 5.56 and 7.62 from this little guy, maybe just a bit more but not much. My SKS seems to kick harder. Spectacular fireballs as expected, didn't really bother me much, if you're the kind that shoots first and asks questions later you might not need the light, lol. No malfunctions of any kind to report. Not quite as loud as I expected but it is quite loud nonetheless. Very maneuverable in tight spaces and nicely compact. In short, I love it!

Wife's new AR. She built the entire thing herself.
    CMMG lower, JP Rifles upper
    LaRue trigger
    Precision Arms Hypertap muzzle brake
JP Rifles 22" barrel in 6.5CM and gas block
JP Rifles low mass BCG, high pressure 308 bolt.
I had the lower etched with her cat's pawprint and a few mags printed with his picture.

Her first three rounds through the gun. That brake is absolutely brutal if you're standing in the blast zone, but the rifle recoils like a 22.
