New member here. I finally escaped the state of Chicago and made it down here to McKinney. (Don't worry I'm not one of the bad ones). I've been here since September now, hoping to finally get going.
In brief, I've been building guns for six years now, almost seven and hoping to find work with a local gunshop or apprentice under a competent gunsmith. Since Illinois illegally signed a bill to sink my chances, and with ITAR being so much less of an obstacle now I'm more interested than ever in refining my skills.
At present I'm working as a level III guard while I look for the right shop to work with.
I look forward to being here, and to a good year.
