The thing that concerns me about having so many on the ballot is the possibility of splitting the vote so much - combined with the uninformed vote - that some idiot squeaks in.

    And, just as a reminder—

I found a sample ballot for my county/district. Damn, have y’all seen the 10 Proposals? Chemical Castration is on the ballot. Maybe we should use that on convicted child molesters? I’m sorry that ones kind of odd in more than one way.

I see term limits for legislatures is on the ballot.

Prop 2 should be an easy vote for everyone here. Yes is the correct answer.

Y’all get out and vote. I plan to vote today.

... Damn, have y’all seen the 10 Proposals? Chemical Castration is on the ballot.

Those are for the party platform.

Here’s the one you specifically mentioned, Republican Prop 6
PARENTAL RIGHTS: Texas should ban chemical castration, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and genital mutilation surgery on all minor children for transition purposes, given that Texas children as young as three (3) are being transitioned from their biological sex to the opposite sex.

You should see the 11 propositions on the communist ballot.

Socialism, gun control, everyone gets a vote, restrain LEOs, and income tax.

    Texas Dems propositions:
    https://www.texasdemocrats.org/our-party/party-resources/our-texas-bill-of-rights/

    I particularly like Prop #5:
    Proposition #5
    Right to Dignity & Respect

Should everyone in Texas have the right to a life of dignity and respect, free from discrimination and harassment anywhere, including businesses and public facilities, no matter how they identify, the color of their skin, whom they love, socioeconomic status, disability status, housing status, or from where they come?

WHAT THE HECK HAS OUR COUNTRY COME TO? Making the right to dignity and respect a legal right for the "who they love" and the "how they identify" crowd? Does the "who they love" comment refer to me having legally provide dignity and respect for some ol' boy who loves a sheep? What if I don't feel these individuals deserve respect? Am I now a criminal?
