Colt Conversion Unit 22LR Complete Slide

A replacement slide designed to allow inexpensive practice while maintaining the feel, trigger pull and recoil of the Model 1911 pistol

Left side of slide is marked: “Conversion Unit Colt Automatic Cal 22L.R."

Upgrades to this slide:
• Millett Adjustable Target Rear Sight
• Wilson Full-Length Recoil Guide (allows unit to remain contained together whenever removed/installed)
• Colt 12-page operating manual (reproduction)

Magazine not included!

Unit performs best with Colt Ace magazines, available for sale on GunBroker

Other magazine brands are said to fit and may, or may not, work as reliably as Colt magazines, ie: Marvel, American Tactical, GSG, Wilson, Kimber, Pro-Mag, TripleK, Metalform, etc

To better insure that the slide locks back after the last round, a specially designed slide stop known as the #2 Slide Stop may be used.
