It’s rare the younger generation gives me much of substance, but my nephew turned me on to Blackberry Smoke. I listen to them often.

    Kinda, out of context, but.
Momma and me had the good fortune of attending the "Eagles, Hotel California" concert in Dallas, Saturday evening.
If you get a chance, do whateverit takes to go see this.
    She's a George Strait junkie. I'm a 70s rocker.
In nearly 40 years together, we've never been to a better concert. It was exceptional. About 4 hours of everyone's favorite music. Played live and sounding almost exactly like the original studio recordings. Vince Gill (A music legend in his own right) standing to the far left. Doing a journeyman's job. Only his very best to make the music right. Not about him, but about the music. Deacon Frey doing an admirable job of front vocals on his dad's signature songs. Don Henley hasn't left anything behind and acknowledged every bit of help that has made this happen. (He's a Texas guy BTW, lives in Marshall)
The Arlington Symphony Orchestra had 44 members there as accompaniment. Perfect.
A bargain at any price. I think there's a show in Houston and one more in Dallas this year. If you like the Eagles, just do it.
