Heh. I know that neck of the woods. Got a nephew that lived a couple blocks north of there while at UT.

    Looks like an enjoyable evening.
We just finished a face time happy hour with our friends from Baton Rouge. They were suppose to be here this week for her birthday but of course they canceled the trip. We really like the area. It's convenient for work and we like going out. And we have a balcony that is protected from the evening sun.

    DR,

For the love of gawd man, go outside.

The sun is still shining, the wind still blowing and flowers are in bloom!

    It's Spring!

It's not the time to overthink cah-razy thoughts while holed up inside with the shades drawn and muttering evil imprecations about President Trump.........

After reading several comments here it got the "I wonder if" part of my brain going. A friend died mid January of a sudden onset respiratory illness. He was in the low 60s and died within a few days of falling ill and he had multiple comorbidities. He didn't have a fever but some diabetics are unable to mount one. They called it pulmonary hypertension. None of it made sense at the time. He lived in the 78209 zip code that has had the most cases of Covid in San Antonio by zip.

The ‘09ers for those who don’t know are generally a better-off lot and probably have the money to travel and such... and probably increased exposure.

Just connecting dots my man. I try not to overthink it. Just that the math never added up. Now it starts to make more sense. Just is what it is.

China has basically -0- new cases???? Yea right.

A neighbor, who’s a nurse, thinks she and her family and coworkers already had it several weeks ago. They had covid like symptoms and all tested negative for the flu.

I hope they roll out widespread antibody testing. I would like to know how lethal this virus really was.

Think I had it over Christmas. Doc wrote it off to allergies that caused a sinus infection, sore throat, low grade fever. Steroid shot and Z-pac and in a few days, all better.

Week goes by and it hit me again. Different doc went with cetrazine and flownase etc. Took a little longer to get better but got there.

Funny thing is.....I dont tend to be allergic to anything. This WAS during that Austin outbreak of Cedar Pollen where you could see waves of it in the wind so just wrote it off to that. While I do get the occasional sinus infection it has never re manifested after a week.

    Thinking back....Hmmmmmm

So, yesterday we go out on an "extended grocery run". To Corpus Christi.
Some of you may be old enough to remember the movie "Omega Man". It was like that. Here is a pic of their international airport. In the afternoon. On a Saturday. No people. No cars (except one DPS rig). No activity. Very weird. Rental car places were open and we were able to get one. Mission accomplished; back to SA.

There can be some explanations, but 20+M isn’t easily explained away ......

Ok, epiphany time. That was just the push I needed to think this through.

Tittilating thought of the day.....Its been driving me CRAZY all week that China has ZERO -0- new cases. How the frig is that possible??? Then the answer hit me and everything fell into place.

1.5B peeps there. They ALL have it. Only way to have -0- new cases right?

Now at a reasonable mortality rate of 1% thats 15M.

Now the math, the lies, the cell phone article and the -0- new cases all comes into focus.

Admittedly, with info available this is just my theory on some things that dont add up.
