    Hello, I was hoping someone might be able to give me a ballpark value of what a fair value is for my model 29, I believe these were sold by Cabellas a few years ago Ive only fired it maybe 2 cylinders like new, its the new generation with the keyhole trigger lock

    this isn’t the for sale section. now i’m gonna have to look at the rules before writing there’s a similar hillary hole Mod 29 4” on an auction site with a starting bid of $900?

    there’s also an “unfluted” mountain gun that’s still over a week left that’s at $850.

    Some people use a gun value post as a loophole to the requirements of the classifieds. They are betting that if someone wants it, they will simply PM them and do the deal. I'm not saying the above post is either or. It's kind of hard to detect unless it's done blatantly, though very new members who haven't at least gave an introduction and contributed in earnest are always suspect.

    makes sense- so, prefacing the post with something like (Not For Sale- just want an impression) should be ok, for future reference.
