    Out here by the lake!
When I bought my Fleming 51 it came in an Assault Systems Submachine Gun Case. It works with my AR pistol & my M203 on a stand alone stock.

I have several of the NCSTAR/VISM cases. They are really nice for the price.

I was going for a "nothing to see here" option for mine.
Didn't want it to look like anything of value, what so ever, in the event somebody glanced into my truck and saw it.
I found a nylon bag folding chair case, that it will fit into.
Of course, it offers zero protection

Are you looking for a hard case to protect the gun or a discreet carry pack?

These 5.11 select carry sling bags are great for the latter if you have a SMG or folding AR:

You just swing the whole thing around to your front and pull on the big tab and the front splits open with your SMG/pistol/PCC at the ready.

5.11 had a blowout sale on these sling bags a while back. Like -75% off sale.

Not really a AR pistol per say. Fits in the backpack just fine. Pockets for spare mags. I haul it in and out of the car every day to and from work. I think a backpack blends in pretty well. If I used a racket case people would know it is out of place. My small shiny aluminum one screams dangerous shit inside.

It measures 22.5 inches end to end.

If the objective is to pass without notice, then most of the 'conventional' bags, even so-called "Covert" bags designed for SBRs/AR-pistols, practically scream 'firearm' (and, most likely, "shoot me first").

My approach has largely gone to using a variety of 18" Laptop bags, as they're ubiquitous and can pass anywhere, only requirement is an appropriately sized weapon...

For example, this one here is fantastic, and like several others, practically invisible for the stated purpose:
