    To All,

I guess that I'm just TOO OLD & "set in my ways" to NOT so intensely dislike "otherwise beautiful young women", who are tattooed like an old-time merchant sailor.
(I saw an otherwise attractive REDHEAD at the FSH Commissary today with "sleeves" on both arms in multi-colors & other "art" disappearing into her blouse.)

    yours, satx

No skin off my nose. I think ink on a woman is hot.

You aint the only one that looks down on it on women. I have only seen 1 tattoo on a women I liked & that was a stickman pushing a mower where her pubic hair would have been.

    baboon,

Year & years ago, "I was with" a lady in Columbus, GA, who had a "quarter-size", "Big Red One" patch, with a man's name & date, over her heart.
(The tattoo didn't show with her clothes on.)

She told me, that it, "- - - - - helped me deal with the loss of my 19YO son, who died at Firebase Leopard, in 1973." - That I understood.

Tattoos are, or should be personal. I have a few, and their locations were selected so that even with short sleeve shirts, no one knows I have them.

Each one carries special meaning and memories that are very personal for me, so I never show them off to people. Up until about six years ago, when I was in the hospital for a mild heart attack, my brother and father didn't know that I have them. I really hate hospital gowns!

    Axxe55,

OTHER PEOPLE dislike me in hospital gowns even worse than I dislike them. = NOBODY wants to look at my bare rear end. = It's sort of like what Harry S. Truman said about his face.
    (CHUCKLE.)

At that time, my bare ass was the least of my worries!

Any other time, maybe the tattoos distracted them from seeing it!

    Axxe55,

FYI, an Army Nurse brought me a pair of scrub pants the last time that I was at WRAHC. = She didn't want to look at my rear in a gown.
(I thanked her for the pants & chuckled to myself after she left the room.)

Well, public tattoos make one a celebrity along with metal bits stuck here and there and are the most attractive when stuck in nose, eyebrows, lip, tongue and other attractive spots.

Full disclosure, like Axxe55, I have one for me and my private reason.

It's can't be seen without my shirt off and I did it for me, not for some weird expectation I'd be considered 'oh so cool' or a lame attempt for attention.

I had it done 30 years ago and never wanted to add another.

Getting all tatted up used to be for bikers/soldiers/sailors and now it means you're a chef.

    Out here by the lake!
Nothing wrong with a nice tattoo.
Until you get old, loose muscle tone, get fat or wrinkly.

My grandfather who had tats convinced me it was one of the biggest waste of money ever. I don't have any nor does my brother. My sister might as she's an idiot like her tatted up kids. My brothers middle boy looks like he should be operating "The Tilt A Puke" @ some crappy traveling carney!

    To All,

ImVho, large visible tattoos on ladies just LOOK "trashy" & definitely "low class".
