Does a pistol count? My first 30-30 was a 14" Contender with a 1-1/2 power scope mounted on it. With spire point bullets it would group right at 1-1/2" at 100 yards off of sand bags. Still got it and found a big brother Marlin 336 for it a few years back just 'cause.
Oh so YOU'RE the guy we get to blame for not having armor piercing 30-30 ammo available.

    Those guys are dead...

I am pretty sure Chuck Connors and John Wayne would have preferred an AR10 if it were available. Heck, even the CETME lol.
YOU TAKE THAT BACK, CHUCK CONNERS WILL LIVE FOREVER!

Unfortunately, I saw John Wayne die. He took a shotgun to the back. Or was it a bayonet to the chest?

I am kind of surprised at the almost 80% owned on the poll. I thought it would be around 60%.

    I have just one.
    A foolish one.

It's a Thompson Contender 14" pistol barrel that I had cut, years ago, to 8" just to be cute.
There is a bit less than 6" of barrel in front of that case mouth,

It is definitely NOT fun to shoot.
It is, however, quite entertaining to watch others shoot it.
    I'd give it a go.

The last photo has the Winchester 30-30 along with a Henry 357 and a Marlin 45-70.

I did not feel like getting anymore out.
