Very shortly will be. I have a lot to learn.
Start with a few books and read them.

Then get a single stage press and start small.

I am not a "don't start with a progressive press" guy besides the fact that a single stage press will always be handy. May as well start there.

Even if you get a 1050 you won't want to retool it to make 10 test rounds.

BTW I had dreams of a 1050 also but there just was never a need for that kind of expense. My LnL AP does everything I need but a 550 or 650/ 750 will as well for a little more.

Looking into a wet tumbler. Been using a gas rebate app and have about $75 ready to cash out on there. Think I'm going to get the smaller Frankford Arsenal tumbler. It's $90 on hamazon but it'll be free for me still so I won't complain!

Picked up a Frankford case prep machine from a raffle win so I'm gonna start training brass after the girls all go to bed.

That's one of the things I was wondering about, wet vs dry tumblers. I'm gonna need one eventually. Or I could just put the dirty brass in a big plastic jar with dishwashing liquid and just shake, shake, shake.

You laugh, but that will work. I've been using ultrasonics for years and the brass doesn't always come out as shiny as dry tumblers, but it's clean and it shoots. The magic is dawn and lemishine.

I bought some brass from Lonestar handgun. It was pretty dirty. Cleaned in corn overnight (several batches on several nights,) and it looks better but want to make things easier. I can do more cases per load in the smaller FA tumbler. Price wise.it.might.be better to get the bigger because it comes with everything else I need. That one says 1k 223 at a time. I'll see how much I can scrape up with the gas app for now.

Tonight I was able to load about 150 45s as well as about 30 450s with 3 new loads and some sight in loads.

I came upon my long lost unopened virgin can of Dupont FF powder, I really need to shoot this up, perhaps on San Jacinto day.
