On a lighter note, some woman on the local Nextdoor forum asked if anyone in the neighborhood had dogs that her five year old could visit and play with. She explained that the boy is an only child and loves dogs.

She was immediately slapped down by several women who scolded her because the boy might be infected and transfer the virus to the dog’s fur.

I read an article today that said hear attack treatments in the ER were down 40% - 60% across the country during this lockdown. It didn't specify if the folks were just dying at home, or if hear attacks in general were down, but I found it odd that the mexican beer shut down seems to have lowered the death rate of the #1 killer in the US.

Opened my last roll of paper towels this morning.
    Shit just got real.

I wouldn't worry too much. I'd suggest checking in the morning. My job has be going to several shopping centers, so as long as I'm there, I'll sometimes walk into grocery stores just to look and see how the panic is playing out. At 8am a Kroger this morning had both toilet paper and paper towels, not a full aisle, but they had stock. Then around 10:30 a walmart had paper towels. I picked up a 12 pack of Bounty because my daughter has 3 kids and freaked out when she saw the picture I sent her begging me to get her some.

A different walmart a couple of days ago has toilet paper a bit after lunch. It seems like Scott brand toilet paper is the one showing back up in stock at several different stores.
