While an achievement can be dependent on one's point of view I would believe that this one I just reached would be significant in the eye's of most firearms enthusiasts especially those that like Beretta pistols.

It's taken me several years but I now have finally reached my goal of acquiring the full size service pistol of every primary Model 92 that has been released. It starts with having one of the original first 5000 Model 92 "step slide" pistols from 1976 all the way through to the current 92X. There were a number of variants that were released over the years beyond the standard full size service pistols for each model, some of which I have also acquired and a few others that are custom builds that I made for myself.

I think doing a mini documentary video about the history of the Beretta 92 would be of interest to Beretta enthusiasts. Having a collection to directly show each one of the major model 92 releases would be unlike any Beretta pistol video that I have ever seen posted anywhere so I am considering possibly doing this in the future.

Cool achievement. My eyes have been open for an elite II from many years ago and still no luck unless it’s a trashed out one

Kind of like Harley's and 1911's, only the collector knows the model difference. But to a collector such as the OP this is something truly great. The rest are saying to themselves "looky there a butt load of 92's, bet he spent a fortune on them."
If you did a video I'd watch it. The 92 is an epic performer

I don't get it. Every full size primary Model 92? Please post a list of what you have.

I am overdue for a large inventory of all my pistols so I don't have a list handy just yet. I just had a list of all the different model 92's I planned on getting and removed each model until my list was empty.

My interpretation of a "full size primary model 92" are the versions that have a barrel length of 4.9 inches, took the standard double stack magazine offered since the model first came out, and were part of a major production run. I did not include all the other variants that have other configurations or others that had a smaller than average production run. For example I did not include the following models and variants in my list: 92D, 92G, 92G-SD, Type M, Compact, Centurion and a number of others although I do have some of them as well.

I would love to see that vid. I’ve got a bit of a 92 problem myself, but nowhere near yours. Congrats.

I recently got bitten with the Beretta bug after buying a surplus Model 81 Pistol in .32 ACP. I was so enamored of the small classic beauty, I soon after bought a M1951 9mm. I haven't shot it yet but for my next Beretta I want a Beretta 84 or 85 in .380 ACP. The look and feel of these old school pistols satisfies something in me. I like 'em!
