Yes or No for a shaft drive? Minimum tow distance would likely be 120 miles. I've done some research but don't want to bias your response in advance by revealing the outcome. I just started searching them last night so I haven't had a chance to call BMW.

I'm limited on property space so adding another trailer, plus registration / licensing, etc. is not preferred.

I rode a smooth a$$, moderately curvy FM last night with cruise set at 50mph, it was relaxing. :)

Saw a Longhorn in what appeared to be a relatively small yard. Horn spread HAD to be at least 7', not sure how he wandered amongst the low hanging trees w/o ringing his own bell.

Anyone riding today? I'm probably gonna go to L. Sam Rayburn, I seem to remember some decent twisties along the E. side.

Took me a sec to realize what you meant.
    You might have a point.
You've disappointed me Cam. Before a legit reply, I would have expected an OOC hit. :(

And as I'm often prone to do, I may be over thinking it. While not a high demand product, if front ends were being yanked off, companies wouldn't still be making them and I likely would have seen posts to that effect on forums, but I haven't.

When I bought the Beemer it had Bridgestones in good condition with no flat spots. I replaced them yesterday because cord was showing out back after only 3K miles which research shows is on par for them.

These Pirelli Angel GT 2s came with all injection nibs (what are they called ) shaved taking away the fun of riding them off and lean indication. I suppose by default, some embarrassment factor is gone too if you're not exactly a peg scraper. Rumor is these last 10K miles.

The Bridestones & Pirellis are both 'sport touring' tires. GT2s are dual compound, don't know or care about the 'stones.

Transferred some gear from the old NC to the new VFR. Ordered some new gear/accessories also. I'll post a pic when I get further along. Also got a new helmet.....

Sport touring compound tires are as sticky as race tires were 20 years ago. I have different generations of Michelin Road tires on all but the RC30. Its 18 inch rear wheel makes finding tires more difficult.

About 20 years ago three of us went in on a Coats 220 tire changer. It will save you a fortune in tire costs. You can have tires delivered to your door. Mounting and balancing a set takes about an hour, and once you learn how you won’t believe you ever paid anyone to do it.

We figure we have changed over 200 tires by now. The Coats 220 isn’t sold new anymore but there are alternatives - a friend even purchased a new hydraulic changer for motorcycles for not much over a grand (maybe 5 years ago) and he’s very happy with it.

Yeah, I don't get scabs on my knees after riding to the dollar store .. Lol. I'll never go thru tires like you do so a machine is out of the question. 25 bux a hoop for mounting is OK with me, it's the 1hr drive to the shop that may cause me to get irons in the future.

I like that case. I need to check into whether it will fit my Kubota RTV900.

I bet it will. Straps are adjustable. There are three straps running top to bottom and one on each end to cinch it to the headache rack. You can route them and cinch them as required. I weaved mine through the bars on my rack to get it not to flip up. It’s solid.

You insert a gun into in from each side.
