    My favorites:
    1) Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
    2) Guinness Stout
    3) Shiner

What my wife buys for me to drink so I
Don’t get to be too much of a fatass :
    1)Michelob Ultra
    2)Coors Light
    3) Shiner

So my favorite I that I am allowed to drink is Shiner.

And before someone says “Who is the boss at your house?”
    It is my wife.

    We just celebrated 33 years

I'd send mine to her parents when she starts thinking & not doing.

My wife has found out after almost eighteen years of marriage, I pretty much know what I'm talking about when I tell her how things should be done.

She and I grew up in somewhat different worlds. She was the youngest of her siblings and I was the oldest. I left home when I was 16 and have been on my own ever since. I did pretty much everything for myself, where she was married and raising kids. She pretty much always had someone there to take care of things for her. I didn't.

So yes, I'm pretty much the boss of my household. Also explains why I have two ex-wives!

Ha,Ha! You might with yours, but this one is a different animal altogether. I choose to stay married because I love her and I have never met anyone like her.

If that works for the two of you, and you're both happy, nothing wrong with that.

I just happened to experience being on my own at an early age and started out from my father in being very independent, and being single for many years before getting married, it's kind of hard to have anyone being my boss or telling what I can, or can't do. When a woman starts down that path, it's time to get single again! Trust me, I left many a woman when they tried to dictate what I should or shouldn't do. The second ex-wife did at least wait a while and tried to do it gradually!

One thing that kinda pisses me off is overt beer snobbery. You like a fruity or a expensive beer, fine. Don’t go for a basic Bud/Miller/Coors because you dislike the flavors, okay. But don’t knock a guy who rolls in and offers y’all a cold Busch or Lone Star. Nothing wrong with those beers...I’ve seen it happen more than a few times at friendly gatherings, and it ain’t cool. I’m not saying to take a free beer you don’t like, I’m saying just be polite. Don’t be the asshat who says “you drink that pisswater” and embarrass the guy who did nothing more than offer a bro a brew.

kinda like the coffee snobs who only want an overpriced Starbucks or some gourmet coffee, and turns their nose up at a simple cup of diner joe...again, it’s about respecting the other guys choice of what to drink...

    okay, end of rant..

Duvel is my favorite beer! By no means do I drink it only. Fosters is a good beer I drink most of the time. Bought from Spec's it's less than a buck fifty per 12 ounces. The Duvel is $15 per four 12 oz. bottles which means I don't drink it often. It's just my "favorite" beer.

Go spend a week on Cat Island, Bahamas or a week in San Pedro, Belize.
You get what you get. It's called beer. It has alcohol in it. You look out at the Caribbean and think, "this is good".
After all, it tastes like beer, and it does the mellow.
Kalik, Belikin. They're real good, if that's where you are.
    Worth every cent.

I agree. Wife and I went to Jamaica a couple of times many years ago. Red Strip was the local beer of Jamaica. It wasn't necessarily good, but it was plentiful and cheap and very cold! :green:
