I've shot the p365 and XL. They're both great shooting pistols, especially for their size. Actually was shooting the p365 XL yesterday. Only thing I would change is the sights. I like Sig x-ray sights, but the front sight post is very wide and that dot is enormous, covers quite a lot of what you're shooting at.

I like the big enormous, bright dot on my 365 XL. My eyes ain't as young as they used to be so the big dot is helpful. I didn't buy mine for target practice. I just need to be able to hit a man sized target, so the front sight isn't too big for me. Besides, in an adrenaline induced target aquisition, bigger isn't always bad.

Ya' gotta' move closer to the target! Maybe about three or four feet away, should work great then!
I actually did do some 25 yard shots with it on an idpa silhouette, and it was definitely adequate for that.

Totally understandable. I wouldn't put Dawson precision sights on it, just something with a slightly thinner blade, for my own personal tastes. Excellent shooter either way.

    Today at the range:
    CZ 455 .22lr
    Mosin PU
    Finn M39
    1886/93 Lebel

The .22lr is a welcoming relief after shooting the other thumpers.
