I'm ok with the fact I'd snatch the Klan mask of his head.

    Hell get over it.

All I think of when I see this post, are assholes who snatch American flags from patriotic protesters.

Your belief differs from theirs, but the action and the principle behind it are exactly the same.

You need to think about that, lest you settle for being a hypocrite because it would piss you off for someone to take your "don't tread on me" flag.

Well my hypocrisy only goes so far. Far enough, in this case, to snatch a klan mask off a racist piece of shits head. I'm ok with that, as I am with any repercussions personally. You should be ok with that lest your hypocrisy is real as well.

Unless you equate a racist piece of shits klan mask with an American flag. If so you have some issues to work out as the two are in no way related, relatable or comparable as symbols.

Sorry but we dont live in a star trek utopia where there is no money and everyone works for the betterment of man kind and loves each other as equals. Racism is the most disgusting thing humans do to each other. Its base dehumanization and as such is used to justify things like the holocaust and slavery.

You have a right to what ever beliefs you may have. These so called principles may or may not have consequences once you start projecting them out into public view. If they are important enough to you then you should be ok with the push back. If not maybe you should rethink your actions.

Me, I'm ok with any repercussions my actions may bring. In fact I'll throw him a 20 to buy some new sheets if he would like. I may get my ars beat, wouldn't be the first time probably not the last but somethings are worth it. That would be worth it.

You will get over it too.

I think the guy was making his own comedic protest.

His choice of mask is freaking hilarious, not something to get all pc about.

No serious klan is guy is go to do what this comedian dared.

Oh, his sense of humor offends you?

Well, sometimes one man's humor doesn't sit right with the uptight...boo-fking-hoo!

    Humor eh?

Like a child molester pretending to phuck a life size 6 year old doll up the ars in public kinda humor?

It might be humor if some black guy was wearing it. At least clueless satire.

No it's not humor, neither is standing up for the guy. It's a cowards tolerance, nothing more.

    IMHO ofcourse.

He's just picking and choosing when he's politically correct. Hollering and screaming, jumping up and down and throwing a hissy fit. No problem for me. I'll try to make it worse for him. And grin at him making a fool of himself.

BUT when you touch me that's assault and you won't like the outcome. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

    Somewhere in Texas!
The person wearing the "mask" is just making a statement, " I am a proud, racist, democrat!"

Candcallen, your tag line " Purveyor of Snark, Humor and Truth."

If this were true, you would really understand that the 1A allows this type of expression, what you are advocating is the same as the silly democrat anti-free speech, censor everything, PC non-sense.

Hey, respect for admitting it. However, I am not equating a clan mask with an American flag. I am equating the principle behind taking something that is not your, just because you believe differently. It's important to understand that.

Alright buddy, this is not me getting on you for these things you're saying, this is, in all honestly, me just trying to help you.

That underlined portion of what you posted has two fallacious problems in ONE sentence, which is rare, even the most emotional people.

    1. False equivalence. You're equating child molestation to wearing a klan mask. This is one reason why you need to know what principle is. The principle behind these two are very stark.

    2. Slippery slope. You're jumping from wearing a klan hood to child molestation, then surely that will turn into murder (although child molestation is worse but legally murder is...).

So it seems you're primarily arguing, using how you feel as the base for your argument, instead of facts and logic. I do think you're better than this. I don't see a person being on this forum and owning firearms, incapable of seeing the difference.

I'm not a racist and would never wear a clan mask because of what it stands for. BUT the person wearing it has his right of self expression (1A) and that's what I was talking about. You came across as one on those dimocrat retards that feels they have the right to suppress free speech. Remember the TRUMP cap incident. That would be you removing it.

MeThinks you owe an apology to the group.

You guys are making another strawman "principles" arguement. In my very humble opinion. Like voting a 3rd party presidential candidates on principles regardless of the damage it's done or will do. It's one of the most ignorant head in the sand crap arguments I hear people spew. It hold no water and is useless. No einstein I'm not equating voting with racism, that would actually be a liberal talking point. I'm talking about hiding behind principles so one doesn't have to actually make a decision or take a stand.

Child molesters and people who wear klan masks are the same. They have the right to both feeling or thoughts that form the basis of their belief system. It's why, for example, the Klan and NAMBLA can both exist. It's why racists and child molesters aren't executed on sight for their beliefs or principles. Although arguments could be made that severe consequences should come from acting on those feelings.

Thus said, in my very humble opinion, any outward expression of such bullsheit is completely unacceptable. If you feel differently, go with God and enjoy a life hiding behind principles. I have no argument with you or malice for you because of your principles and dont take them personal. I simply disagree.

The "your a dim cause" you dont agree with my "principles" is a fraking ignorant arguement, a cop out. I cant understand why people devolve to finger pointing or label making when they disagree. Sorry if it chaps your ars, youu can pound sand for all I care. Call me what ever you want. To me it falls under the old saying about evil and good means inaction. It's the most disgusting thing mankind does to each other. It only happens cause we allow it.

The second most disgusting thing is calling anyone who disagrees with you racist. There's a contradiction for those calling me liberal PC or what ever.

My opinion will not change on this. Call it a principle if you wish since folks are so fond of throwing the word around. You can continue to draw ever finer points with verbose examples if you wish but at some point you will have to pick a point to stand or bury your head. For me that shit is unacceptable.

The only apology you will get is I'm sorry we disagree.

ETA, I feel the same about antifa pukes who wear/hide behind masks and act on their so called principles or beliefs. Their maskes should be snatched of their heads too.

Consider why the masks are worn or their intentions. To hide? Probably to a certain extent but mainly as intimidation. Again it's only such if you stand by and allow it to be.

I guess I'm just a crotchety bastard that way.

    HAHA what the hell...

What if the klan mask wearing guy absolutely hates slavery AND is not racist but does it out of pure morbid humor?

You can't jokingly molest a child. Molestation is completely wrong and there can not be any making light of it. Klan mask wearing can be funny, like Chappell wearing one in his show.

Alright man, I genuinely tried to help you out but I guess this is one of those "gonna have to learn from experience" types of situations. However, I'd say it's my opinion that you just aren't a principled person. Instead, a very emotionally driven person.

It's a shame, especially being that way in possession of firearms, BUT HEY, I could be wrong as the day is sure to come, I suppose.

Anyway, my best wishes to you and yours. I'm gonna go ahead and step out of this one.

Candcallen will from this point forward will be known as "Karen-callen". For someone who does not want his liberty trampled upon, you are awfully willing to trample upon others' liberty. Keep this in mind Karen, I never said I agreed with this person, just that he has the right to show off his true colors or to make a complete and utter ass of himself.
