Snagged this ported VP9 yesterday off of Gunbroker. I bought it on a whim since is was local at Gt Distributors. Not to mention, a lot cheaper than most people are asking locally for VP9's right now.

Also, for anyone looking for 9mm, they had a pallet of Fiochi for 229.00 per 1,000. Not great but not a ripoff for right now.

Nice! I also bid on it early but lost interest after that.

In honor of the Moonpie I bought a Glock 44.

After testing it in the range and discovering that this thing shoots so easily, I decided to join the ugliest-gun-ever club.

    Bah.

Sold my fns9c and got g48, it looks hideous (in my opinion) but it's so easy to shoot that I didn't recognize my own groupings View attachment 213565

‘About time the Glock haters come around to the dark side. All of mine shoot outstanding.

I imagine you can fix up a Yugo to where it runs outstanding, but it doesn't make it a Ferrari.

A self defense gun doesn’t have to be pretty or be a Ferrari per your analogy. It just has to work every time and be accurate. The Glock fits that bill well regardless of what haters say.

Maybe someone with mediocre shooting skill may have trouble but even my wife and daughters can run a Glock efficiently and accurately.

Most modern firearms fit that bill pretty well. Glock is not an exception.
