Sounds really interesting. Got the safe covered (with NFA weapons you better) and insuring ammo would be interesting although quantities would be hard to prove for settlement as it is a rather fluid asset. Do they insure NFA weapons and is it an annual payment? Thanks for checking this out so thoroughly. Sounds like a new insurer for me also.
In home Safes ARE NOT required. Accessories such as OPTICS, cases, suppressors, silencers, magazines ARE COVERED.
We cover contemporary Ammo up to a limit of $5K.
What about serial number and/or "valuable" items?
Thanks!
ETA: curious how they could just take people's word on what they actually possess?
They only require appraisals on items over $10k.
If you file a claim you're going to have to show proof of ownership. You can suddenly say you owned a dozen Wilson Tactical Supergrade Professionals.
It's why I keep a detailed list, description, serial number, attachments and such as well as pictures of everything.
Waiting for Eastern to contact me back, but based on the quote I just got from Collectibles, it looks like Eastern will be less expensive by about $13 per $10,000 annually (based on numbers provided in this thread). If that holds true, I'll be signing up with Eastern this week.
What is the cost per $10k?
ETA: When you find out that is, please.
Resurrecting a thread, but I didn't find anything newer. Is Eastern or Collectibles still a good choice?
Thanks
