I believe it. We have an Asian family that lives down the block that I swear must have some of them living in the attic. They have 9 cars (all running).

    To All,

My mechanic's dad is NOT happy about a 3BR/2BA house near him in Southside that he swears has over 50 single men staying there @ 100.oo a month EACH. = Adolpho says that it's a 24/7 party.
(Anybody care to bet about how many of the crowd are LEGAL residents??)

Wouldn't you just love to have that crowd in your, until recently, QUIET/family-type neighborhood??

    yours, satx

Sometimes it works out differently, though. We have one of those filled-beyond-capacity houses in my neighborhood. Unlike the party house you describe, this house is filled with people just keeping their heads down and working various trades.

What's cool is that they also put their skills to work keeping the house perfect.
    • The lawn is perfect,
    • There's never a visibly needed repair, and
    • They were the first in the neighborhood to cover their roof in solar panels, etc.
In short, perfect neighbors. Sometimes they tie up the road doing an elaborate vehicular dance as they move a few of their 5 work trucks and 4 cars to let somebody out of the driveway but that's a very minor inconvenience and nobody complains.

    ben english,

Sounds like GOOD NEIGHBORS to me.

Otoh, in Southside SA at the house near where my friend's father/mother live, the scene is a completely UNKEPT house/lawn & drunk men often lying about in the yard most every evening, loud music deep into the night, occasional fights & even heartier partying on their days off.
(Steve's dad says that the men all seem to be 18-30YO, employed at some sort of job but also seem to spend most of their money on booze, wine coolers & beer, based on the amount of bottles/cans discarded on the yard. - He has seen no sign of drug use, however.)

Wait, the county that has what 120% registered voters made a mistake. Say it isn't so.

    TAZ,

I'm NOT surprised. = SEVERAL voting precincts in South Philly had EVERY registered voter "cast their vote" for HRC in 2016 & in five of those precincts the voters were "so well organized" that they ALL voted in ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
